A sample Oaxaca itinerary
We normally combine a visit to OAXACA after the
client arrives in MEXICO CITY and spends two or three nights in the
capital.
At least three nights are needed in OAXACA to
really enjoy the City. We then continue on to MERIDA.
We weave into the Oaxaca days the tours mentioned
below...
MITLA
Half day guided tour with private transfer & guide
MONTE ALBAN

CITY TOUR
FAMOUS INDIAN MARKETS

the Coast can be reached by a small local flight to Huatulco and
Puerto Escondido.
Palenque
A fabulous Mayan site, recommended stay of one or two nights.
Famous for its tombs and the Olmec heads in Villahermosa.

The ruins of Bonampak and the awe-inspiring Sumidero Canyon and
Agua Azul Waterfalls can be set into an itinerary before or after
visiting Palenque and Chiapas.
Dia de Los Muertos
THIS IS THE MOST FAMOUS OF ALL THE "FIESTAS" THROUGHOUT
THE YEAR.

to see. BUT BE WARNED IT IS NOT EASY TO GET ACCOMMODATION AROUND
THESE DATES,
